The update popup explains what is new using signed release notes. Choose Update now to install and restart, or Later to carry on. Later defers the reminder for 24 hours. ANIMAIL saves open work before applying the update. Earlier native versions receive the same signed update through their existing updater; the new choices appear once this version is installed.
Verified before it moves in.
The native updater verifies signed release metadata and downloaded file checksums. It checks that the download is the official update before applying it.
Moving from an older edition.
Older browser-engine ANIMAIL editions use a different profile and update channel. Export an encrypted ANIMAIL backup before moving to the native Windows edition, then restore and review it.
