This is unsigned development software. Windows may show an unknown-publisher warning. Keep an independent backup of important mail, read the limitations below, and quit an older ANIMAIL tray instance before opening a new build.

Good to know before you start.
- First launch guides you through connecting your email, choosing an animal notifier, and opening your own Inbox.
- Keep your existing email address. Connect a compatible provider with its app password or secure server settings.
- Mailbox passwords and the Outbox journal are encrypted by Windows. Downloaded mail and local drafts are cached on this PC and are not separately encrypted by ANIMAIL.
- Server folders and manual moves synchronize. Composed drafts, blocked senders and filtering rules remain local.
- Large messages over 25 MB are not downloaded. Outgoing attachments are limited to 20 MB in total.
- Closing the window keeps the app in the tray. Use Quit ANIMAIL to exit completely.
